Landscapes of Milos

About Milos

Milos is a stunning volcanic island in Greece known for its dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and unique beaches. Located in the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea, Milos offers a mix of rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and striking white rock formations shaped by centuries of volcanic activity. Beaches like Sarakiniko look almost lunar, with smooth white stone contrasting against bright turquoise water, making the island one of the most visually distinctive destinations in Greece. Visitors often explore the coastline by boat to discover sea caves, quiet swimming spots, and iconic locations like Kleftiko.

Beyond its natural beauty, Milos also has a charming cultural side. The island’s small villages feature traditional Cycladic architecture, narrow streets, and waterfront tavernas serving fresh seafood and local specialties. The colorful fishing village of Klima, with its rainbow-painted boathouses, is one of the most photographed spots on the island. With its laid-back atmosphere, incredible scenery, and rich history dating back to ancient times—including the discovery of the famous Venus de Milo statue—Milos offers travelers a peaceful yet unforgettable Greek island experience.
